Boss 1: You need to do a calender for project X.

Sometime later...
Me: Ok, the calender is done.

Boss 1: Wow this looks great, I'll show this to the client.

Boss 2 is also the boss of "Boss 1" - Boss 2 is the usual insane boss I put up with.
Boss 2: This looks complicated but show it to the client anyway.

Sometime later...
Boss 1: The client absolutely loved the concept and design! They were going on and on about how great it would be to use it.

Me: Great! Happy to hear that.

Boss 2: EHHHH, no. No, no, no no. It's not good. (she laughs a bit) Sorry, it's not good, no no no. It's not good no. No.

Me and Boss 1: Ok....

Sometime later I get an email from Boss 2...

(email)Me: Ok well maybe it needs to be more user-friendly - here is a quick mock-up of what I mean.
I attached a more "user-friendly" calendar which was essentially the same thing but practically no design anymore.

(email)Boss 2: Yes, this is much better but it's not good.

(email)Me: Ok, we can just do a basic calendar then.

(email)Boss 2: You should stop wasting time emailing about the calendar and focus on other things.

I moved on to another project and a few minutes later I get a call...

(Phone call)Boss 2: You should stop wasting time emailing about the calendar ok?

(Phone call)Me: Ok.

(Phone call)Boss 2: You should stop wasting time emailing about the calendar because it's a waste of time ok?

(Phone call)Me: Ok.

(Phone call)Boss 2: Because the calendar is not so important now so stop wasting time on it ok?

(Phone call)Me: Ok....

(Phone call)Boss 2: Ok???

(Phone call)Me: Ok....

(Phone call)Boss 2: Ok, good because we should focus on other things ok?

(Phone call)Me: Ok....

(Phone call)Boss 2: Ok???

(Phone call)Me: .....Ok,yes, I got it!
