I quoted my boss an hour of work for her project. 15 minutes after I started working...
(call) Boss: So are you done yet?
Me: No, I still need another 45 minutes.
Boss: Ok
30 minutes later. My boss walks over.
Boss: Are you done yet? Worker a needs another project done.
Me: I need another 30 minutes.
My boss yells out:
Boss: Worker a! We'll be done in 20 minutes! She then turns to me. You'll be done in 20 minutes you said right?
Me: Uhh, no 30 minutes.
Boss: Oh ok....
5 minutes later...
Boss: Are you almost done yet?
Me: I still need more time.
Boss: Oh ok, because we need to do other projects. So are you done yet?
Me: No....
