This didn't happen with my boss but rather a project manager.

PM: The client asked to have this options button added to the app.

Me: Seriously? Just last week I went through tons of designs removing them.

PM: I never said to remove them.

Me: It's in your email....

PM: Oh...

3 minutes later.

Me: So just to make sure, you want the options button added right?

PM: No...I never said that.

Are you KIDDING ME?

My boss comes over while I'm starting on a new design project x.

Boss: I want to talk to you about doing a mockup for project y.

Me: Ok.

Boss: Let's talk when you finish project y.

Me: Ok.

Boss: So can we talk now?

Me: Ok....
