There was a 3 way call between me, my boss, and the client.

Boss: Hello.

Client: Hi. I wanted to have this meeting to discuss...
My boss interrupts.

Boss: Yes of course we completely understand that you want to change the text and we wanted to talk about that.

Client: So the text on the image...
My boss interrupts.

Boss: Yes the image is our concern as well do you want to keep the text as is or change it?

Client: (Sounding a little agitated) Well like I was trying to say about the text and how it is right now...
My boss interrupts.

Boss: Yes so you want the text to be different we understand and we will also do some variations on it for you like you wanted.

Client: (shouting) I DIDN'T SAY ANY OF THAT! YOU AREN'T LETTING ME TALK ABOUT WHY I CALLED! If this is how the rest of the call is going to go I think we need to regroup another time.

My boss is completely shocked. I'm not even remotely surprised. Sadly, this is a very common thing where my boss does not listen to the client, puts words into their mouths. Quite often, the poor client is too intimidated by being constantly interrupted to disagree.

My boss remains clueless.
